Who I Am
I’m Roger Christopher, a degree qualified Electrical Engineer specialising in advanced control system design.
After graduating in 1986 I worked for a number of automation system suppliers and I have been an independent consultant since 2000, specialising mainly but not exclusively in Beckhoff TwinCAT systems as TwinCAT offers unparalleled power, speed and sophistication.
I have a close association with Beckhoff Automation UK, having completed many projects for a variety of customers using TwinCAT, starting with version 2.4 in 1988.
I have completed projects for 3P Innovation, AMP Rose, ATM Automation, Bespack, Bosch Manesty, Brintons Carpets, Cobble Blackburn, DataWrap, Dynamotive, EDM, G-MAT, Hexcel, Huxley Bertram, Kostal, Lawson Marden, Leaderflush Shapland, Linpac, Marden Edwards, Mercedes AMG HPP, Milliken Industries, Modular Automation, Molins, Neopost, Olsen Actuation, Sewtec Automation, Simworx, STL, Varian Medical Systems and Waagner Biro Stage Systems.
I doubt if anyone else in the UK has completed more TwinCAT projects, and I hope to do many more.
